803 Elizabeth was built in the early 60's by Elizabeth and Howard Maynard. They subdivided an old farm into large building lots along Elizabeth Lane (named, of course, after Elizabeth.) We bought the five acres with the house in 1973. Fourteen years ago, we transformed our extra rooms into a bed and breakfast. It has been a great experience and we really enjoy meeting guests from, so far, 39 states and 8 countries.
We love to travel as well as stay at home and tend to the gardens and the B&B. Our "Bucket List" includes visiting all of our 50 states. We are nearly there! Only Oregon to go. |
Last May we went paddleboarding with the kids on Forked Creek just off the Severn River in MD. It's great fun and we can almost keep up with the youngsters.
